Shannon McGregor

Elena Sadiku kicked-off another busy summer if incomings by welcoming her first addition of Shannon McGregor in early June.

The midfielder is a familiar face to many around the squad, having turned out for fellow SWPL side Hibernian for the last seven years.

During her time at Easter Road, McGregor enjoyed a successful stay, and is now reunited with a number of her former Hibees team-mates including Amy Gallacher and Colette Cavanagh.

Whilst with the Edinburgh club, the 24-year-old lifted two League Cups and a Scottish Cup, alongside playing at the highest level in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

As of the summer of 2024 though, McGregor will now pull on the green of Celtic, fulfilling a life-long dream as a Celtic supporter from an early age.
