Saoirse Noonan

Becoming Elena Sadiku’s sixth summer signing, Saoirse Noonan penned a three-year-deal at Paradise.

Following her most recent spell south of the border with English side Durham, the forward made the move to Glasgow to join Elena Sadiku’s squad.

As a youngster, football wasn’t the only sport Noonan played at a high level, representing her home county of Cork in Gaelic football.

However, her goal scoring abilities led her to continue playing football, turning out for the likes of Cork City and Shelbourne, before her journey led her to Celtic Park.

Noonan also brings senior international experience to the group, being called for the Ireland squad and she has also scored for her nation.

The 24-year-old has kick-started life well with the Hoops, scoring in pre-season and will be aiming to take that into competitive action.
