Jenny Smith

Jenny Smith became the first signing of the 2023/24 campaign, joining from fellow SWPL side Hearts.

The midfielder put pen to paper on a three-year deal after coming through the Academy with the Tynecastle side.

Despite still being in the early stages of her career, Smith made over 100 appearances for her former club after becoming part of the first-team set-up at 15-years-old.

On the international stage, she has also collected caps at youth level for Scotland, including playing five times for the under-19s squad.

Celtic supporters will be familiar with the 21-year-old, who has come up against the Celts on a number of occasions.

Smith even managed to score against Celtic, producing an impressive finish to half the deficit during a 2-1 win over the Jambos in January 2023.

She will now be aiming to have a similar impact in front of goal in the Green and White Hoops.

Her first goal for the Hoops came in the Champions League against Valerenga, before she quickly followed that up with a goal of the season contender against Aberdeen a few weeks later.
