Emma Westin

The first new addition of the January transfer window in 2025, Emma Westin signed a deal until the summer of 2026 with the club.

The versatile wide player spent several years in the US college system, before returning back to Hammarby where she has spent most of her years as a footballer.

Having been on the journey from the second division to the top with the club, Westin signed her first professional deal in 2019 and went on to help them win their first league title.

That soon led to a historic first involvement in the UEFA Women’s Champions League as Westin enjoyed a similar experience to the Hoops in the group stages of the competition.

The wide player was a familiar face to Sadiku and her squad, having come up against the Ghirls in pre-season for her former club side during the Hoops’ trip to Sweden last summer.
