Shin Yamada

The forward arrived from Japan as Brendan Rodgers’ sixth signing of the summer window, penning a four-year deal at Paradise.

Having played senior football since 2022, the striker has picked up valuable experience playing in the J-League with Kawasaki Frontale.

During his time with the club in the Japanese top-flight, Yamada scored 32 goals in 121 appearances.

The striker brings pace and power to the Celtic frontline and his most prolific campaign came in 2024 when he scored 19 goals.

Yamada has also performed on the international stage, coming off the bench to make his senior debut for Japan during a 6-1 win over Hong Kong in July 2025.
