Ben Summers

Ben Summers was selected for the B team at the start on of the 2021/22 Lowland League season, whilst also playing for the under-18’s.

Originally coming off the bench at the start of the B team’s Lowland League campaign the attacking midfielder then became a regular in the starting eleven.

Ben has been at Celtic and in the academy since the age of seven and is also known for playing a young Tommy Burns in a documentary about the Celtic legend.

He got his first taste of senior action for the Hoops in March 2023 being named on the bench for their 3–1 victory over Hibernian. He then made his official Celtic debut on April 16, 2023, coming on as a substitute in the 88th minute of a commanding 4–1 away win against Kilmarnock.

For the 2023-24 season, Summers gained valuable experience during a loan spell with Dunfermline, where he made 20 appearances and bagged two goals.

Last season, the attacking midfielder ventured abroad, joining Admira Wacker on a season-long loan. He featured 19 times and scored twice during his stint in Austria.
