Celtic were in blistering form on Sunday afternoon against Hearts at Celtic Park, with Martin O’Neill’s men hammering the Tynecastle side 7-1 at Paradise.

Kieran Tierney started the scoring just seven minutes in to the game before Benjamin Nygren, Callum Osmand and a Hearts own-goal had the Hoops 5-1 up at the break.

After the match, Benjamin Nygren and Callum Osmand, both of whom grabbed a brace this afternoon, spoke to CelticPlayer and reacted to a beautiful Sunday for Celtic.

“It was brilliant today.” Nygren said. “To be honest, it was so fun to play today.

“Since I came here, we haven’t scored that many goals in a game, so it was extra fun to do it at home. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing.

‘We created a lot of chances and luckily we scored them. It was a great game.’

“We have a lot of quality players and today we showed that. We just have to keep going, keep working hard every day and hopefully more of these performances will come.”

Callum Osmand added: “It’s amazing (scoring goals at Celtic Park)! I’ve been wanting to play as many minutes as I can, and it’s been tough with injuries but I’m so glad to be out there and scoring.”
