Celtic Pools continues to play a vital role in supporting the Celtic Academy, helping young players like Colby Donovan progress through the ranks and into the first team.

Following the signing of his new contract with the club, Colby joined Celtic Pools' latest Paradise Windfall winner, Charlie McFadden, for a special photograph highlighting the important contribution supporters make to the Academy.

Charlie was the lucky winner of £10,000 at Celtic's home match against Dundee United on Wednesday, October 28, marking the 21st half-time Paradise Windfall draw of the season.

Across those 21 draws, an incredible £164,000 in prize money has been awarded to supporters.

Supporting the next generation of Celtic stars

Since its launch in 1995, the Paradise Windfall has become the biggest draw in football, offering supporters the chance to win prizes of up to £25,000, with draws taking place for both home and away matches.

More importantly, the Paradise Windfall generates over two-thirds of Celtic Pools' total donations to the Academy, with all net proceeds from the Paradise Windfall, Weekly Lottery and Prize Draws going towards developing the club's young players.

Colby's journey is a fantastic example of the difference this support can make.

Having joined the Celtic Academy in 2014 at just eight-years-old, Colby progressed through the youth ranks before stepping up to the B Team on a full-time basis during the 2023/24 season.

He went on to make his competitive first-team debut on August 23, 2025, in a 3-0 victory over Livingston at Celtic Park.

His progression from Academy youngster to first-team player highlights the importance of continued investment in youth development, made possible in part by the generosity of Celtic Pools supporters.
