TECHNICAL GUIDANCE

To provide supporters with the most stable, secure and high-quality stream possible, the upgraded CelticPlayer platform utilises modern streaming technology with standards similar to major global streaming platforms.

As a result, the platform is no longer compatible with some built-in Smart TV web browsers (including the Amazon Silk browser on Fire TV devices). While built-in TV browsers are not supported, you can still easily watch on your main television screen using the following options:

Connect your laptop or PC directly to your TV using an HDMI cable.
If you have an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) on the same Wi-Fi network as your Smart TV or Apple TV, you can cast the stream wirelessly. (See Apple Support for a step-by-step guide).

We are currently working on integrating CelticPlayer live matches directly into the official Celtic FC Mobile App, which will significantly upgrade and simplify casting functionality for both Android and Apple users straight to your TV.

System Requirements: To ensure smooth, uninterrupted playback, please ensure your setup meets the following minimum specifications:

Desktop Operating Systems: Latest versions of Windows 11 and macOS (minimum supported version: macOS 26 Tahoe).
