The Celts’ pre-season fixture list for this year is locked in and it’s set to be another stormer of a summer for the champions of Scotland as they get ready to hunt down more success in season 2025/26.

With no less than three of next season’s UEFA Champions League contenders lined up to challenge the Scottish Champions from the English Premier League, Portuguese Primeira Liga and Dutch Eredivisie and trips to Ireland and Italy, it’s an exciting line-up that promises to provide a stiff test for the Bhoys this summer.

GLASGOW

Brendan Rodgers’ men kick-off their pre-season preparations with a trip to Glasgow’s Southside to face Scotland’s oldest club, Queen’s Park at the City Stadium on July 4 (KO: 19.45). Tickets for this match will be available soon and will be sold exclusively by Queen’s Park Football Club.

IRELAND

The Bhoys take a trip to Cork to face Cork City on July 8 (KO: 1800) at the iconic Páirc Uí Chaoimh, the home of Cork GAA. Celtic and Cork City will battle it out in the heart of the Rebel County for the inaugural Cork Super Cup and it is set to be a special day for everyone connected with both clubs, especially Adam Idah as he returns to his home town.

PORTUGAL

Following a closed doors match against Estrela da Amadora on July 12, the Celts travel to the Estádio Algarve to face Portuguese giants, Sporting Clube de Portugal on July 16 (KO: 19.30), when the stands will be filled with green and white.

NEWCASTLE

The Celts’ first and only pre-season appearance at Celtic Park will be against Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United side in a battle between the Scottish and the English League Cup winners on July 19 (KO: 15.00) to compete for the inaugural adidas Trophy.

The Hoops will compete in the inaugural Como Cup, where they will face Ajax on July 24 (KO: 20.30). This will be followed by another fixture on July 26 or 27 against either Como 1907 or Al Ahli, depending on the result of the clash against Ajax and the other tie. Please note, these tickets are available exclusively to 2025/26 Season Ticket holders.
