The latest episode of Celtic TV’s 'My Greatest Game' has been released, this time focusing on former manager, Neil Lennon, and an unforgettable evening in Paradise when the Celts triumphed over Barcelona on November 7, 2012.

In this unmissable episode, Neil Lennon reflects on the defining moments of the game which gave the club one of its most remarkable results in European competition.

He said: “Even as a player, this one stands out above all the rest because of its significance.”

The episode starts with the Irishman recalling the build-up to the game, as Barcelona arrived in Glasgow on the eve of Celtic’s 125th anniversary.

He talks about attending a special Mass at St Mary's Church in the Calton - the birthplace of Celtic - which marked the beginning of celebrations to commemorate the club's foundation on November 6, 1887.

“There’s just something you feel in the pit of your stomach every now and then, a sense that something special is going to happen,” he said.

Neil Lennon also reflects on the context of the match, recalling Barcelona's narrow 2-1 victory over Celtic at the Nou Camp two weeks earlier, a game that ended with Jordi Alba breaking the hearts of Celtic fans in Catalonia with a late winner.

In this episode of My Greatest Game, the former Hoops boss recalls the moment when 18-year-old Tony Watt scored past Victor Valdes to put Celtic 2-0 up and send Paradise into a frenzy with less than 10 minutes remaining in the tense match.

“He has the pace and power, and he’s clean through,” he recalled. “I don’t know what Tony was thinking at that moment.

'It all happens in a split second. He took it like a seasoned professional. It’s one of those iconic moments in my life.'

“Cue bedlam, Cue thunder, with the foundations shaking. I turned to Johan Mjallby and said, 'We might get a draw out of this now!'”
