Brendan Rodgers is looking for his side to continue their impressive run of form when they take on Kilmarnock at Celtic Park this Saturday.

The Hoops go into the game on the back of eight wins and a draw, an unbeaten run stretching back to a victory over Livingston just before Christmas, and the Celtic manager is looking forward to the next challenge on the horizon this weekend.

Speaking ahead of the game, he said: “I think our response from the two games when we conceded early in December has been absolutely brilliant, and probably in any other country, eight wins out of nine is actually a very good return.

'But I’ve been here in Scotland, and I know that eight wins out of nine is a disaster when you’re top of the league. So I just focus on what we need to do.'

“There are still a lot of games to go. I think it’s great for the league. You never go into any league title and think it’s going to be a procession.

"It’s hard work and hard graft, and over 38 games the best team will always win the league.

“So for us really, it’s just about ourselves and our own attitude and mindset, and in that aspect it’s very, very good. So we just have to focus on each of our games and only worry about ourselves and let’s see where that takes us.”

Greg Taylor returns to the squad, having back training this week, while Cameron Carter-Vickers will rejoin the squad next week.

Alistair Johnston and Reo Hatate both remain sidelined through injury, while Liel Abada also remains out of the squad.
