Celtic FC Women will round off what has been a busy week with their third match in seven days as they take on Hibernian this Sunday (February 11).

Following last Sunday’s Scottish Cup fourth round triumph over Hamilton Accies, the Ghirls followed that up by getting back to winning ways in the league against Motherwell in midweek.

Elena Sadiku's squad will be hoping to round off a productive week in the ideal fashion by sealing a third away victory within the space of seven days.

After returning to the starting line-up during Wednesday’s trip to face the North Lanarkshire side, Maria McAneny is hoping that she and her team-mates can continue to build momentum under the new Head Coach.

Speaking to Celtic TV ahead of this Sunday’s match against Hibs, the midfielder, who has been playing in a left wing-back role, said: “It’s a three-game week, so we all need to be fresh and ready. We are all looking forward to the challenge at the weekend.

‘It’s enjoyable playing that different role. Any time you play for Celtic it’s enjoyable!’

“It’s maybe something a bit different, but I’ve really enjoyed the past two games and hopefully we are all looking to progress this weekend.

“We got two good wins over the past week. It was a good result against Motherwell on Wednesday, and a good win last weekend against Hamilton Accies.

“So we're just looking to take that into the weekend by putting in a good performance, making it right and get three wins in a row.”
