On Friday evening (August 23), Celtic Football Club hosted its first ever celebratory dinner to honour the success of our historic women’s team.

After bringing home a first SWPL title to Paradise last campaign, supporters turned out in their numbers to kick-start an annual tradition to celebrate all things women’s football at Celtic.

This year’s event paid special tribute to two club legends, Kelly Clark and Chloe Craig.

Hosted by Michelle McManus, fans in attendance enjoyed a fantastic night, which included Q&A sessions with current first-team stars Amy Gallacher, Caitlin Hayes and Saoirse Noonan, Head Coach Elena Sadiku and special guest Elaine C Smith.

Both Kelly Clark and Chloe Craig also took to the stage, speaking about their incredible Paradise memories, before watching heartfelt messages from their team-mates and coaches.

Last Friday’s event proved to be a fantastic success, celebrating two players who have given their all for the club, and was a brilliant way to mark the beginning of this annual tradition.
