Celtic supporters can look forward to spending an evening in the company of a former Celt with plenty of entertaining stories to tell, with tickets on sale now for An Evening With George McCluskey at Celtic Park.

Taking place in the Sports Bar on Friday, November 3 (KO: 7pm) and hosted by writer and broadcaster, Gerry McDade, fans will have the chance to hear first-hand accounts from George’s time in the Hoops, which saw him make 207 appearances, scoring 83 goals for the Celts.

George signed for Celtic in 1974 and enjoyed many incredible moments during his time in the green and white over the next nine years, including playing his part when 10 men won the league at Celtic Park, scoring in the famous 4-2 victory over Rangers in 1979.
