Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea’s young Celtic side are back in UEFA Youth League action tomorrow (Wednesday), taking on Atlético de Madrid at The City Stadium.

The fixture kicks off at 2pm and tickets are still available to buy online now.

After a strong home performance against Lazio, the Celts shared the points with the Italian side in a 1-1 draw thanks to a late penalty kick from Mackenzie Carse.

The young Hoops will be looking for the support from the Celtic faithful to help them capitalise on the home advantage once again as they hope to put in another good performance in their European campaign.

With tomorrow night’s (Wednesday) UEFA Champions League action at Paradise, supporters can enjoy a full day of football by supporting the youth side in Mount Florida before heading along for the 8pm kick-off under the lights at Celtic Park.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers encouraged fans to head along and watch the Bhoys in action, stating: “I would very much encourage supporters to head along and watch the B Team because it’s something I used to do myself.

“That was like the warm-up, and then go on and watch the first team play. It always felt great as a football fan, to see young players play with that enthusiasm.

“Tomorrow’s game is at a great venue, it’s a beautiful pitch and supporters can then come across to Celtic Park afterwards, which will be brilliant!

“This is the beauty of the qualification, with the first team being at this level. It gives an opportunity for the young players to play against top quality opposition.

“But it’s also a great opportunity for supporters to go and see players for the future that might come through and play for Celtic. So I’ll always watch that with a keen interest.”

The closest train station to the ground is Mount Florida which is located just over 500 yards away and is served by Glasgow Central Station.

Supporters can access car parking in the Blue Car Park of Hampden Stadium.
