Speaking ahead of the game, he said: “The game is a tough one. Malky’s done a brilliant job since he’s been there and it’s not a surprise to me.

“I know how hard he works and he gives everything. As we have seen in the first game of the season, even though we won and played okay, we had our challenges.

‘This will be the same and we have to be ready.’

“It’s about focusing on the game and it will be another ticked off for us.

“We’ve started the first round of games well with nine victories and two draws that we should have won, and the team is growing and developing as we go through.”

One man who could feature in Dingwall is Hyeongyu Oh, who grabbed his first goal of the season in Wednesday’s 2-1 win over St Mirren at Celtic Park.

The South Korean was in fine form as he sealed the three points, having come off the bench, and his manager has been impressed with his contribution so far this season as he was asked about the likelihood of Oh and Kyogo starting together today.

He added: “Mostly how we play is 4-3-3 but there’s lots of opportunities to play, whether it’s as a single striker or up there with someone.

“Oh’s a young guy who works very hard and I’ve been very impressed with that part of his game.

“It’s not easy coming in from the other side of the world and it’s totally different, but he’s adapted really well. There’s a lot of his game that I like and I know he can only improve.

“He came on the other night and in the period he was on he was very effective for us and scored a fantastic goal, so hopefully he can continue to do that whether he starts or is on the bench.”
