Greg Taylor netted his third goal of the season to get the scoring underway at Celtic Park tonight (Wednesday), firing in a powerful left-foot shot from just inside the area to put the Hoops on the road to a 3-0 victory over Livingston.

It’s the left-back’s second goal against Livingston this season, and he’s hard-pushed to choose which of the two is his favourite goal.

It was another impressive performance from the 25-year-old on a night when a dominant Celtic side extended their domestic unbeaten run to 20 games – 19 of those being wins.

And speaking after the game, Taylor was pleased with the win and his goal.

“I’m a wee bit prolific against Livingston, it seems to be,” he told Celtic TV, “so it’ll be between those two goals.

'I thought we had good control the whole first half, to be honest, and it was just a matter of time and taking the chance or having a moment.'

“And once we got that one moment, it made it more difficult for Livingston because their plan was to frustrate and they had to come out a wee bit more and we had the chance to capitalise on that in the first-half.”

The 3-0 win was also the sixth consecutive clean sheet for Ange Postecoglou’s side, and Taylor explained that the whole team takes credit for that impressive statistic.

“A lot of boys are contributing to that, it’s not just the defenders, and not just Joe Hart,” he said.

“It’s the whole team and it starts with Kyogo pressing and then Oh when he comes on, and there have been lots of boys contributing to that, so we’re really pleased with that.”
