Former Celtic winger, Jonny Hayes, who is currently enjoying a successful end to the season with Aberdeen, is the next special guest to be announced for the unique event planned for Thursday, May 18 - A Night With Scott Brown and Mikael Lustig - which is being held at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.

Following spells at Reading, Leicester, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Aberdeen, Dublin-born Hayes signed for Celtic in June 2017.

He played for three years in a hugely successful team alongside Scott Brown for the entire period and Mikael Lustig for two seasons. And during his time at the club, the team won three consecutive Scottish Premiership titles, two Scottish Cups and two League Cups.

Jonny re-joined Aberdeen in June 2020 but left Celtic with incredibly fond memories of his time at the club, the camaraderie with Scott, Mikael and his other team-mates and his relationship with the Celtic faithful.

He said: “I have so much respect for Broony and Lusto and everything they did for Celtic Football Club.

“It seems very fitting that they both get this opportunity to thank the fans and I have no doubt those supporters will turn out in great numbers, as they always do, to show their appreciation.

“I’m looking forward to a wonderful night on May 18 as, with Broony and Lusto involved, it’s guaranteed to be a cracker.”
