The Celtic View Podcast is back after a week off and it’s a special one as the women's team take over with Lucy Ashworth-Clifford and Rachael Johnstone on the latest episode.

With the first-team and B team away on international duty at the weekend, all eyes were on Fran Alonso’s women’s side as the only team representing Celtic on the weekend, sealing an impressive 3-0 win away from home over Aberdeen.

Winger Ashworth-Clifford and goalkeeper Johnstone sit down with Celtic View’s Ryan Maher to look back on the weekend’s action and the strong start to the season as they remain undefeated in the league with six wins from six.

The pair also give us a behind-the-scenes look at life in the dressing room, as Ashworth-Clifford puts her teammates under the spotlight with some quick-fire random questions.

18-year-old Johnstone has had an exponential rise after signing for Celtic in 2019 from her home on the Isle of Lewis and she sat down for the first episode of the mini-series ‘My Game, My Words’ where each week members of the women’s team openly discuss their life and footballing story.

The pair are then put under the spotlight back in the podcast studio, as Ryan puts questions from you, the fans, and their teammates to both of them, before they take part in the 60-second quiz, looking to top Cameron Carter-Vickers’ high score of eight.
