Henrik Larsson scored an incredible 242 goals for Celtic in 315 games, so asking him to choose his favourite is an impossible question. However, what is remarkable is that he remembers them all.

“Even now, if I see two seconds of a clip, I know exactly how I scored the goal, so that’s good. I only need to see the start and I know how I scored,” he explained.

For supporters, there are many, many memorable goals – the chip in the 6-2 demolition derby, the goals he scored on the road to Seville, or even his double in his last game at Celtic Park against Dundee United.

For the player, not surprisingly, there are too many choose from.

“I always loved to play at Hampden,” he said, “so there were a few from that arena such as the League Cup final hat-trick against Kilmarnock – the dummy on Marshy in goals.

“There’s a header that people don’t talk a lot about against Dundee United at Hampden as well in the Scottish Cup semi-final in 2001. That’s a really good one.

There’s a few goals against Aberdeen at Celtic Park and, obviously, a few goals against Rangers as well. So there are a lot of goals!”
