"It makes you feel good as a footballer that they’re looking up to us, and if we see them in the crowd on cup final day it would be amazing to win it, not only for ourselves but for them as well.”

Celtic heads into the final after a two-week break from the last SWPL1 game of the season, allowing not only plenty of time for physical and mental preparation but also for a chance to hit the reset button before the all-important run-in.

“The whole team is buzzing, from the players to the staff, we're ready for this game," she added.

'We’ve been waiting to play this cup final for a while now and everyone is ready, refreshed and excited and ready to go.'

Despite falling to defeat in their last two league meetings with City, the Celtic FC Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year knows they can be more than a match for the nine-time winners, especially after beating them in the League Cup final at Firhill.

She said: “I feel like those two league games we were very unlucky, with the keepers and the likes, but we beat them in the League Cup and that wasn’t luck.

"We outplayed them and if we go in with the same confidence and same work ethic, I think we can come away with the cup.”
