Celtic TV has launched a new exciting series called ‘My Greatest Game’ with Lubo Moravcik as the very first guest.

The Slovakian genius looks back on an incredible European night at Celtic Park as the Hoops hosted Juventus on October 31, 2001 in a UEFA Champions League group-stage game, knowing they had to beat the Italian giants to stand any chance of progressing to the knockout round.

On the night, Paradise witnessed an unforgettable seven-goal thriller, with Lubo, at the grand old age of 36, playing a starring role in the 4-3 victory for Martin O'Neill's side. Results elsewhere, however, meant that Celtic did not get out of the group, but it is a night that players and fans alike will never forget.

And on the first episode of Celtic TV's My Greatest Game, Lubo reflects on the key moments of the game, with the Slovakian having played a part in all four of Celtic's goals on the night.

He told Celtic TV: “It’s a European game, it’s a special game even for the fans and the atmosphere was brilliant because we scored a lot of goals.

“Before that season, I told everybody it’s my last season and obviously we played Champions League and it was my dream to play that competition.

“For me, that game was maybe between the three best moments of my career at Celtic, and I’m very, very happy to get that opportunity.

“I have to say thank you to Martin O’Neill, because Martin had the idea to give me that chance... and I hope I didn’t disappoint him!”
