Josip Juranovic has been at Celtic long enough to know just how intense the playing schedule is.

With a game almost every midweek and weekend, it’s a heavy schedule as Ange Postecoglou’s have been competing on all three domestic fronts and the European stage.

It’s a fixture list though that the Croatian right-back lives for, getting the chance to do what he loves every three or four days.

After failing to win the last two matches away to Bodo/Glimt and Hibernian, Juranovic is relishing the opportunity to try and rectify those results tonight against St Mirren.

Speaking exclusively to Celtic TV, he said: “As players, we are busy because every three days we have to go again and if we didn’t get the result we wanted we can try and do it much better.

'We are ready, I assure you that. Each training session we get 100% from everyone and when we are out on the pitch we are giving everything.'

“Sometimes the ball doesn’t go in but again we will give everything to win our next game.

“We have to move the ball fast from side-to-side because most of the time we have the ball and it’s difficult when the opposition has everyone behind.

“It’s a case of us attacking the space and moving in behind their line because when you have most the possession it’s up to us to score goals and stay at the top of the league.

“We always have to watch the opposition because the teams will look to hit us on the counter, but if we play at our best and look after ourselves then I’m always confident.”
