As the Celts get ready to kick-off their title defence at home this Sunday with the first league game of their 2022/23 campaign against Aberdeen, we’re encouraging supporters to arrive early for the Flag Day celebrations at Celtic Park.

2PM - ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL THE FAMILY ON THE CELTIC WAY

Arrive early to soak up the pre-match atmosphere with your favourite songs playing on the Celtic Way, plus plenty of family entertainment on offer to keep the kids busy before kick-off with face painters and balloon artists too.

2:55PM - CHAMPIONS ARRIVE AT CELTIC PARK

Make some noise for the Bhoys as the Celts arrive at the foot of the Celtic Way at approximately 2:45pm. Led by captain, Callum McGregor, the Celts will carry the SPFL trophy home to Paradise in front of the fans, before beginning their pre-match preparations.

3PM - STADIUM OPENS

The stadium will open from 3pm allowing entry to the concourse areas and kiosks, with face painters also in the family stand for young fans looking to get game-ready!

4PM - TAKE YOUR SEAT EARLY FOR A SPECIAL FAN DISPLAY

We’re encouraging all supporters to take their seats as early as possible with on and off-pitch preparations and celebrations from 4pm ahead of kick-off at 4:30pm.

With a sell-out crowd packing out Paradise, Celtic Park will be in full voice ready to welcome the Champions of Scotland home, with supporters encouraged to play their part in a special pre-match fan display.

Liam McGrandles will provide the soundtrack to the celebrations from the pitch during the build-up to kick-off.

4:20PM - SEE THE CHAMPIONS’ FLAG FLY AT CELTIC PARK

We’ll be showing all the highlights and goals from last season on the big screens to help you relive the magic of the title-winning campaign for the Celts, before welcoming the Celts out on to the pitch, led by captain, Callum McGregor who’ll unfurl the league flag in front of supporters in celebration of last season’s incredible campaign.

The ceremony will take place 10 minutes before the 4:30pm kick-off, and supporters are urged to be in their seats early to enjoy the celebrations.

4:30PM – KICK-OFF - THE 2022/23 SEASON GETS UNDERWAY FOR THE CELTS!
