The winter break is over and the fans are back in full force as Hibernian travel to Celtic Park tonight.

The Celts faithful will be thrilled to return in their numbers and will be even more excited to have two debuts to cheer on.

Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate go straight into Ange Postecoglou’s starting XI for the Hoops’ first game since a 3-1 win over St Johnstone on Boxing Day, after signing on Hogmanay from Yokohama Marinos and Kawasaki Frontale respectively.

The two winter recruits are part of six changes from the last match, with Joe Hart, Greg Taylor, James Forrest and captain Callum McGregor all returning to the team.

There could also be a third debut tonight as Yosuke Ideguchi takes his place on a bench that has increased to nine players, with five substitutes now able to be made for the rest of the season.

There’s also welcome returns from injury for Jota, Mikey Johnston and Georgios Giakoumakis to the matchday squad, as the Bhoys go in search for their first win of 2022.
