The Celtic View Podcast is back for a special Cult Heroes series where, for seven weeks, a former Celt sits down to talk through their career.

In Episode 1, Harald Brattbakk joined the podcast to talk about his memories of the title-clinching goal against St Johnstone in 1998 and in Episode 2 Jacki Dziekanowksi looked back on his memories of the night against Partizan Belgrade.

In the third part of the series, Andreas Thom joins to look back on his time in the green and white Hoops.

The former German internationalist spent three years at Celtic, winning the League Cup title in 1997 and being part of the team that stopped the 10 in 1998.

He is fondly remembered for some special goals, particularly on his league debut away to Aberdeen and in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Rangers.

It’s one not to be missed as Thom breaks down all his memories from his time at Celtic, as well as looking back on his career in East Germany behind the Berlin Wall before making history by becoming the first East German to join a West German side.
