Celtic Soccer Academy’s world-renowned International Coaches’ Convention (ICC) returns to Glasgow in 2022 for its 10th Convention, and spaces are now available for aspiring coaches based in Scotland who are looking to gain unparalleled access to one of the top youth academies in the world.

The Convention will take place in Glasgow from Thursday, April 7 to Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Coaches from all over the world are invited to attend, with practical and theoretical sessions covering technical and tactical development, match analysis, athletic development, talent ID and recruitment.

The Convention also offers unprecedented behind-the-scenes access at both Lennoxtown and Celtic Park, with keynote speakers and exclusive Q&A sessions with key coaching staff.

DOMESTIC COACHES 2 DAY PASS NOW AVAILABLE TO BOOK

With places already available for international coaches (£395 per person, 4-day pass), we now have places available for domestic based coaches at £150 per person for a 2-day pass, Thursday April 7 and Friday 8 April.

This year we are also delighted to work in partnership with the Scottish FA to create an opportunity to gain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours as part of the 2-day pass, priced at £200 per person.

Greig Paterson, Head of Coach Education and Development at the Scottish FA, said: “We are delighted to work in partnership with Celtic FC to provide additional learning opportunities.

"This latest initiative allows Celtic FC and the Scottish FA to collaborate with one another, dovetailing provision for coaches looking to retain their Scottish FA & UEFA Licences through our CPD Programme.”

Any coaches who are booking a place at the Convention in order to obtain CPD will be required to submit a report to the Scottish FA after the event and must also be available to attend a post Convention zoom call, hosted by the Scottish FA. Details of what is required in this report and the date/time of the zoom call will be emailed out in advance of the Convention.
