Celtic are delighted to announce contract extensions for Celtic FC B Team Bhoys, Ben McPherson and Joe Morrison.

Both of the young Hoops joined the club in July 2020 and with the new deals in place, they will be hoping to further their development under B Team coaches Darren O’Dea and Stephen McManus.

Christmas came early for goalkeeper, Joe Morrison as he extended his stay at the club for a further two years, until June 2025.

Ben McPherson has been a vital member of the squad this season across the Lowland League and the UEFA Youth League. After putting pen to paper today, he committed his future to the club until June 2025 with a three-year extension.

Speaking on the new contracts, McManus said: “Both players have worked tremendously hard this year and we are delighted to have the new contracts in place.

“Darren and I look forward to continue working with the boys on their development and hopefully watch them make their mark in the first-team in the future.”

Everyone at the club congratulates both Joe and Ben on their new contracts and looks forward to see them continue their journey in the Hoops.

Joe, Ben and the rest of the Celtic FC B Team will take to the pitch at Celtic Park on December 30 as they go head-to-head with Rangers B in a Lowland League clash.

It’s a 2pm kick-off at Paradise and tickets are still available to buy online or from the Ticket Office, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

It’s an excellent opportunity for supporters to get behind the young Hoops, showing them the same incredible support that the Champions of Scotland enjoy throughout the season!
