Celtic Soccer Academy is delighted to announce that they have partnered with two exciting academies in both South Africa & Bermuda.

Transition Football in Johannesburg, South Africa and LB Peak Performance in Bermuda will now receive the support of the Soccer Academy to help develop their players and coaches over the next three years.

These long-term partnerships involve the sharing of club methodologies through our coach mentoring programme, access to our coaching curriculums, coaching camps, and will also provide an opportunity for both the players and coaches to travel to Scotland and receive a behind-the-scenes look at how Celtic develops young players to reach their potential.

Transition Football, established in 2017, boasts an impressive membership of over 500 players and 14 members of staff and aims to offer a holistic player development programme.

Director of Transition Football, Claudio Lorenzani said: “We are extremely excited by this partnership with Celtic Soccer Academy as we look to build a new platform for the club and create new opportunities for our players and staff to grow.

'Celtic’s Academy structure has always been impressive and we look forward to working closely with Celtic to help develop our graduates to the same level as their Academy graduates.'

More recently, LB Peak Performance was founded in 2019, with the aim of creating an environment where players can master their craft away from their teams.

With this key focus on individual player development, their academy now has over 100 registered male and female players and eight members of staff.

Owner of LB Peak Performance, Coach Leo added: “We are extremely excited for this partnership with Celtic Soccer Academy and are grateful for their support in our development of players and coaches in our academy. In Bermuda it takes partnerships to help the sport grow and we are thankful for this opportunity.”

Celtic’s International Soccer Academy Manager Jose Romero added; “We are absolutely delighted to a announce our partnership with both Transition Football & LB Peak Performance, our first partnerships in both countries, emphasising once again our commitment to develop the game across the globe.

"I am excited to work with both academies and help support their growth and development over the next three years."
