This Sunday’s matchday programme for the visit of Aberdeen has been given over to a massive 68-page A4-sized tribute to the one and only inimitable Bertie Auld.

It’s the first home game since his sad passing and we have trawled through the Celtic View archives to uncover some gems about, and by, the Lisbon Lion who the Celtic Family lost barely a fortnight ago and said a tearful goodbye to on Friday.

Bertie was ‘The Entertainer’ and will always remain in our hearts and while the club will be paying a touching and heartfelt tribute to Bertie on Sunday, the special programme will remain a keepsake and memento of a very special player for the Celtic supporters.
