Celtic Football Club has received confirmation from the local Safety Advisory Group that following a positive review of recent matches and associated protocols, around 24,500 supporters will now be permitted access to the Club’s next planned home match against Dundee on August 7, 2021.

We thank our supporters for their assistance and co-operation in working within the established matchday protocols, something which has been crucial in delivering this increased attendance for our first home league match of the season.

Celtic Chief Executive Dom McKay said: “I would like to thank our fans for all the fantastic support they have given us in reaching these levels. I would also like to thank all our staff for their efforts and hard work in allowing us to reach this stage, as well as the Safety Advisory Group for all their co-operation.

"We will be doing all we can to work closely with the relevant authorities and welcome our fans back in even greater numbers in the coming weeks.”

We want nothing more than to welcome as many fans back to the stadium as quickly as possible, and therefore appreciate your patience as we continue to work behind the scenes to make that happen.

Please note, in the event that Celtic Park hosts a home European match this coming midweek, we will update supporters on agreed/confirmed attendances.
