With Christmas now less than a week away, Celtic FC Foundation would like to offer special thanks to club sponsor, Intelligent Car Leasing (ICL).

Thanks to ICL’s incredible gift of LED advertising space at Celtic Park, we have been able to promote the Football for Good Fund (FFGF) for the entire season so far, and this will continue at least until the climax of this current Cinch Premiership campaign in May.

This prime advertising space has been a key element of this current Christmas Appeal phase of our FFGF and has allowed us to communicate key messages with supporters in the stadium – and those watching on TV. Such an invaluable outlet greatly extends our reach and makes a huge difference to our efforts.

In addition, ICL have also made a financial contribution to the Appeal, which is greatly appreciated.

Chair of ICL, Martin Brown, and his team have been regular and dedicated supporters of the Foundation since their partnership with the club was formed. This comes in a variety of forms including the LED space, the donation of incredible auction prizes, play on the park places, project investment and attendance at key fundraising events.

Martin said: “Intelligent Car Leasing are once again proud to support the magnificent work of the Foundation, and we are pleased to be making our contribution to their Christmas Appeal. It is a charity that is very close to our hearts. The appeal will provide food and gifts for hundreds of local families this Christmas and that’s what it is all about.”

Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton, added: “The support of ICL has made a huge difference to the reach of our Christmas Appeal message as we do all we can to help those most in need this festive season.

Through this year’s Christmas Appeal we want to give hundreds of families in our communities the Christmas they deserve, making sure there’s food on the table and gifts under the tree.

We also wish to help pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community and refugees – as well as a whole host of others facing poverty and hardship.

Charity, and the generosity and compassion of the Celtic Family, will always be our past, present and future – it’s our heritage, our responsibility, our lifeblood.
