Since that impressive win at the weekend, Ange Postecoglou’s side have been preparing for the second leg of their UEFA Europa League qualifier against FK Jablonec.

Having won 4-2 in the Czech Republic last week, the Hoops squad go into Thursday night’s game confident that they can complete the job and book a place in the play-off round.

And they go into the game knowing they will be playing in front of a full house at Celtic Park, with the match now a complete sell-out.

It’s something that all the players, whether they are experienced like McGregor who knows what these occasions are like, or some of the new signings, are looking forward to.

“It’s been so long since we’ve had a full house at Celtic Park, so it’s a brilliant opportunity to get the supporters back in to enjoy the football, and it’s also a brilliant opportunity for the boys to experience and feel a full crowd again.

“So we’re very much looking forward to it and the boys are desperate for kick-off to come. All the preparations have been done, we go out, we earn the right to play, we show high energy and we have a good night – that’s our focus and we’re just desperate to get a full house again.”
