FOLLOWING Thursday’s UEFA Europa League third qualifying round win over Riga in Latvia, Celtic return to domestic competition this afternoon (Sunday) to host Hibs in the Scottish Premiership. Neil Lennon makes three changes to the side that started in midweek, ahead of what he expects will be a hard-fought match against an in-form opponent.

Jeremie Frimpong replaces the injured James Forrest in today’s starting XI, having come off the bench for the 29-year-old on Thursday after 35 minutes. The young midfielder went on to clinch Man of the Match, and will aim to extend that form into this afternoon’s proceedings.

In the wake of his last-gasp goal eight minutes after entering play against Riga, Mohamed Elyounoussi likewise enters today’s lineup, as does 23-year-old striker Ablian Ajeti. In turn, Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham drop to the bench, where Leigh Griffiths also features alongside Scott Bain, Patryk Klimala, Ismaila Soro, David Turnbull, Tom Rogic and Hatem Elhamed.

In two league encounters last year, the sides drew 1-1 at Easter Road in September, before the Hoops won 2-0 at Celtic Park in December. Between those games, Neil Lennon’s men recorded a 5-2 victory at Hampden in the semi-final of last season’s League Cup.
