CELTIC will kick off their UEFA Europa League group-stage campaign with a home game against Italian giants, AC Milan, on Thursday, October 22 (KO: 8pm)

Milan, who have Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their ranks, finished sixth in Serie A last season, and qualified for the group stages following a 9-8 penalty shoot-out victory over Portuguese side, Rio Ave.

The following week, on October 29, Celtic are in France to take on Lille in the Stade Pierre Mauroy. The French side are currently second in the table after five games, and Timothy Weah, who spent a few months on loan at Celtic in the second half of the 2018/19 season, is part of their squad.

Neil Lennon’s side then face a double-header against current Czech league leaders, Sparta Prague. The first match is at Celtic Park on November 5, and three weeks later, on November 26, the Scottish champions travel to the Czech Republic.

Matchday five sees the Hoops head to the San Siro, a stadium that Neil Lennon has previously competed in as both Celtic player and manager. That match takes place on December 3.

Seven days later, on December 10, Celtic complete their group-stage fixtures with a home match against Lille.
