Jeremie Frimpong reckons a strong dressing room is responsible for the Hoops’ recent form, which has seen them win five games from five in all competitions.

The Dutchman naturally wants to extend that statistic with two more wins before the turn of the year – first against Dundee United at Paradise tomorrow (Wednesday) and then again against Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday.

“We’ve trained well and you can see from the performances that we all want it and we just want to keep that up,” the right-sided player told the media at Lennoxtown. “No one likes to lose, nor do they like drawing. We didn’t like that feeling and everyone wants to win, and we’ve changed that around now.

“You don’t like the losing feeling, everyone was upset, if you don’t want that feeling, then you have to win and that’s what we’ve been doing. We’re building momentum now and that’s a good feeling.”

“We all came together and said to ourselves that we know it can’t always go our way, but we have to win and change it around. You have to block the noises out. The players we have are capable of winning and we have to do that.

“Obviously with Celtic, we’re known for winning things, but if you think about too many things at once, that can affect your performances. It has to be one game at a time. We were in a bad spell there, but now we’re back together and that’s good.”

With improving his own game in mind, Frimpong said he continues to take advice from his team-mates and coaching staff in order to keep things fresh on the pitch, with a particular focus on finessing his final ball.

He added: “Everyone helps me out here. I’ve been here for over a year and I’ve had to change my game a little bit as people know what I’m going to do at times. You have to do that. If you want to be the best you have to change things and do different things. If you think about the negative things too much, that can’t change things so you have to think positively.

“Right-back and right wing is the same thing for me, it’s just that the position is higher up the pitch. I get in the position a lot that I’ve beaten my guy. I’ve been working on my end product and in order to help the team, I have to improve my game and I’ve been trying to do that.”
