WITH over £700K invested through the Football for Good Fund, Celtic FC Foundation has helped deliver much needed support over these past few months to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fundraising landscape has changed dramatically since the beginning of the pandemic, which has saw the Foundation’s focus shift more towards online fundraising initiatives such as Green Day, which took place ahead of the opening match of the season, our 9-in-a-row nomination challenge and our upcoming Virtual Food Drive on September 19, ahead on the match V Livingston.

These fundraising avenues are absolutely crucial at this time to help continue our work around the Football for Good Fund, however, funds raised by supporters are equally as vital and we have seen supporters throughout the world get creative and come up with their very own challenges.

Among those to raising funds have been Dr. Joseph Bradley and Martin Donaldson, both of whom have taken on their own unique cycling challenges.

Joseph, who has regularly been out on his bike in recent months, decided to take on a tremendous 90km cycle around the Isle of Arran on Saturday, August 22.

Martin, meanwhile has recently kicked off a virtual cycle on his exercise bike at home, as he aims to cycle the total distance from his house to each of the top flight stadia for the 2020/21 SPFL season, over a nine week period.

Celtic FC Foundation would like to thank Joseph, Martin and all of the supporters who have been raising funds through a host of wonderful activities.
