CELTIC have scored 141 goals across all competitions this season, and 10 of the best are in the running for the Magners Celtic Goal of the Season Award, as voted for by the fans.

Over the next few days, the official Celtic website will be looking at each of the nominated goals, and you can watch all 10 goals on the video below.

Today's Goal of the Season nominee is a superb strike from Callum McGregor at Fir Park.

Callum McGregor has hit 13 goals this season, his best ever return in a single campaign, and his effort against Motherwell in a 4-0 win at Fir Park back in February is probably the pick of the bunch. Ryan Christie and James Forrest combined well down the right-hand side, and it was the latter who played the ball across the 18-yard for McGregor.

The midfielder took a touch just inside the ‘D’, elevating the ball to the perfect height for him to execute a stunning left-foot volley that left the Motherwell goalkeeper with no chance. It was a great example of McGregor’s awareness, technique and finishing ability, with the Celtic fans in the stand behind the goal having a great view of a great goal.

Callum McGregor: ‘It took a wee bobble which invited me to hit it and it was one of those nights where you see it flying into the top corner. It’s up there with the Scottish Cup final one against Motherwell with the half-volley.’
