CELTIC have scored 141 goals across all competitions this season, and 10 of the best are in the running for the Magners Celtic Goal of the Season Award, as voted for by the fans.

Over the next few days, the official Celtic website will be looking at each of the nominated goals, and you can watch all 10 goals on the video below.

Today's Goal of the Season nominee is James Forrest, for a brilliant counter-attacking goal in Sweden.

This goal was a classic counter-attacking effort from Neil Lennon’s side against AIK. Christopher Jullien intercepted a ball into the area and passed it out to James Forrest on the edge of the area. The winger immediately drove down the right-hand side before cutting inside as Odsonne Edouard moved out wide, dragging defenders with him. Forrest fed the ball to the Frenchman and kept running, and Edouard returned the compliment, floating the ball back into Forrest’s path. The winger showed tremendous skill under pressure, taking an exquisite touch with his right foot to move the ball on to his left before firing home from 12 yards out to give Celtic the lead in Sweden.

James Forrest: ‘I was delighted with that goal, and there have been a lot of good goals this season. At that time, before and after that game, I think we’d scored quite a few similar goals from defending and us breaking quickly, and with the attackers we’ve got in the team and the pace we’ve got in the forward areas, it’s obviously a real threat.’
