CELTIC have scored 141 goals across all competitions this season, and 10 of the best are in the running for the Magners Celtic Goal of the Season Award, as voted for by the fans.

Over the next few days, the official Celtic website will be looking at each of the nominated goals, and you can watch all 10 goals on the video below.

Today's Goal of the Season nominee is Kris Ajer, for a great strike against Motherwell.

Having gone behind early on at Fir Park, Celtic took just two minutes to draw level, and it was Kris Ajer who effectively started and finished the move. Gathering the ball on the right from a Scott Bain throw-out, he moved the ball on to James Forrest on the right touchline just over the halfway line and then surged forward in support, racing beyond the Celtic winger. Forrest, who can cut inside, flicked the ball with the outside of his right foot into the path of Ajer, who was now inside the Motherwell area, and the Norwegian defender was coolness personified, sliding the ball under goalkeeper, Mark Gillespie, and into the net.

Kris Ajer: ‘Ryan Christie’s on at me every single day to score more goals so I’m just happy to score that goal and hopefully there’s more to come. It was a great ball out from Scott Bain and then a fantastic pass through from James Forrest and it was easy to run on to. I just closed my eyes and hit it low, so luckily it went in.’
