CELTIC will take on FC Copenhagen in the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League. The draw today (Monday) has pitted Neil Lennon's side against the Danish champions, who are currently second in the table.

The Hoops were seeded for the draw, having finished top of Group E following an impressive campaign. That began with a draw away to Rennes, followed by home wins over Cluj and Lazio, a historic 2-1 win in Italy and then a comprehensive victory over Rennes at Celtic Park. The group-stage finished with a 2-0 defeat away to Cluj last week, but by then, Celtic had already confirmed their place at the top of the group.

FC Copenhagen finished second in their gruop behind Malmo. In their three home ties, they beat Swiss side, Lugano, 1-0, drew 1-1 against Dynamo Kyiv and lost 1-0 to Malmo.

Celtic and FC Copenhagen met in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League back in 2006. The Hoops won the home game 1-0 courtesy of a Kenny Miller penalty, but lost 3-1 in Denmark. Neil Lennon was in the Celtic side for both games.
