THE countdown to the Celtic FC Festival in association with Magners continues, and with kick-off just over one week away, the club are delighted to confirm that some of the Lisbon Lions will be in attendance on Sunday, July 28.

Jim Craig will be taking to the Celtic View stage as he looks back on that momentous day in the Lisbon heat in 1967. He’ll share his favourite stories from the club’s illustrious history and his time playing in the green and white Hoops.

Fellow Lions Bobby Lennox and John Clark will also join fans for photos with the coveted European Cup in the afternoon. Act now to secure your tickets for Sunday at the Celtic FC Festival!

We are honoured and proud to have the Lions in our presence on the Sunday, but fear not if you have tickets for Friday or Saturday! There will be a tribute to the greatest football story ever told all weekend long, with photo opportunities alongside 'The Big Cup' and the opportunity to walk down memory lane with our Road to Lisbon installation.

In addition, our current heroes in attendance on the Sunday will be:

What’s more, they will be joined by two famous former Celts, Roy Aitken & Frank McAvennie!

On Sunday morning you can also get closer to the action than ever before and join our youth coaches as they put the players through their paces on our purpose-built Celtic Pools pitch.

The coaches will talk the audience through each training session so that fans can see first hand – the dedication, talent and hard work it takes to make it at Celtic Football club.
