Luana Muñoz

The defender joined the Hoops in the summer of 2023, signing a two-year deal with the club.

She arrived in Glasgow after turning out for a number of high-profile clubs in Argentina, including River Plate, UAI Urquiza and most recently Racing Club.

In between returning to her homeland with Racing, Munoz also spent time in the American college system at the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

On the international stage, Luana represented her nation a number of times at youth level, including for Argentina under-20s at the 2014 European Championships at just 16-years-old.

In 2019, she went on to make her senior debut for her country, against South Korea.

During her time at Racing Club, the defender was seen as a leader, pulling on the captain’s armband regularly, and she will look to use her leadership abilities at the back to help her teammates.
