Colette Cavanagh

In June 2023, Colette Cavanagh completed her return to the club for a third spell, signing a two-year deal.

Having initially come through the Hoops Academy, the midfielder made her debut for the Ghirls as a 16-year-old, before completing a move to Spartans.

After spending a short time in Edinburgh, the 24-year-old returned for to Glasgow in 2018, where she picked up individual accolades, including the Player of the Month award, thanks to a series of impressive performances.

Her experience in the top flight of Scottish Football continued, during another spell in the capital, this time with Hibernian.

Cavanagh enjoyed a successful stay at Easter Road, lifting her first piece of silverware winning the Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup, before also being named in the inaugural PFA SWPL Team of the Year during the 2021/22 season.

Following a short stay at Rangers, Cavanagh has now returned to Celtic, and was delighted to have joined up with the two-time Scottish Cup winning squad.
