Celya Barclais

One of the newest additions to the Celtic backline, Celya Barclais joined the Hoops on a two-year deal ahead of the opening competitive match of the campaign.

The move to Paradise will be the 22-year-old’s first club outside of her homeland in France.

Having spent time in the Academy of PSG as a youngster, Barclais went on to make appearances for Paris FC and GPSO 92 Issy.

The defender most recently turned out for Stade de Reims, plying her trade with the club for two years and helping them to a sixth place finish last campaign.

Barclais has also gained international experience, earning call-ups at different age groups for the French National Team, including at under-20s level.
