Colby Donovan

The young defender made the full time step up to the B Team during the 2023/24 campaign, nailing down a regular role at the back.

After a strong end to the season in Stephen McManus’ side, which included scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory over Queens Park in the Glasgow Cup, Donovan travelled with the men’s first team for pre-season.

Joining up with Brendan Rodgers’ squad in the States, Donovan featured in friendly outings during the summer preparations.

Earlier this season, the full back was named in the matchday squad, taking his place on the bench in the Premier Sports Cup tie against Falkirk.

He has also played his part in what has been a successful UEFA Youth League campaign, featuring in five out of the six league matches so far.
