McDonald and Samaras kick off, Brown gives away possession.

Nice interplay in midfield, involving McGeady, McDonald and Robson. Robson fouled by Moutaouakil, free kick wasted by Robson.

Nice ball in to the edge of the six yard box by McGinn, cleared. Celtic pick up loose ball, McGinn sends in another ball that is steered wide by Samaras.

McDonald does brilliantly to get to ball before defender and play in McGinn. Move eventually breaks down.

Samaras chases an overhit pass down the right, shepherded out by Hammell.

McGeady runs at Yassin Moutaouakil, jinks past him and drives a ball at goal that zips past the top corner.

Robson and McGinn play a one-two, that ends with a well timed challenge from Forbes. Samaras follows up and hammers the loose ball over from the edge of the box.

Samaras lifts in a cross from the right which drops past the back post.

Jutkiewicz almost manages to steer a Humphreys shot past Boruc, he recovers, touching the ball wide, before claiming it.

Samaras almost put through on goal by a deflection on the edge of the box. He fails to reach the loose ball before Ruddy.

Cross from Samaras lifted into the box, but there are no takers.

Brown penalised for a late challenge on Hateley in the middle of the park.

McDonald wins a corner off Saunders. Ball swung in by McGeady. McManus up at the back post, another Celtic corner. This time Robson takes, but overhits it.

Caldwell does well at the back, cleaning up a long ball and taking time before playing the simple ball to Boruc.

Great challenge by McGeady on Murphy at the edge of the Celtic box, halts a clear run at goal.

McGinn breaks forward and has a shot that is saved by Ruddy.

Ruddy has to punch away a McGeady cross from the right after the winger skins Hammell.

Good play by McGeady and Wilson helps win a throw in for Celtic. Samaras then lifts in a ball to the back post that McGinn just fails to connect with.

Caldwell lifts a long ball forward that McDonald just fails to reach. Ruddy out his area and collects on the edge of the box.

Throw out by Boruc sends Samaras away, but Celtic give away possession again.

Samaras swings in a cross to the back post from the right that drops over the shoulder of the defender and onto the head of McGinn. The winger doesn't get a clear sight of the ball and sends the header wide.

Robson sees a shot deflected wide for a corner, after openings for McGinn and McGeady. Robson curls it in, Ruddy punches clear.

SECOND HALF RESUMES

McGinn released by a quick free quick, fails to complete his cross, which is deflected out for a corner, which is then cleared by the visitors.

Reynolds gives away possession, Robson wins it, runs at goal and is taken out by a late trackle from Saunders. The referee ignorres it and bizarrely awards a throw in.

Coke goes in on a 50-50 on Brown, which incenses the Celtic midfielder. Both players spoken to by the ref. Looked a fair, but hard challenge.

Robson has an attempt from around 5 yards outside the box, which sails over the bar.

Brown nearly through on goal, then McGinn has a shot that Ruddy saves.

Great tackle to halt Murphy by Caldwell after the winger beats Robson and Wilson.

Long range shot by Jutkiewicz turned wide by Boruc.

Two corners in quick succession for Motherwell. Caldwell heads clear.

CELTIC SUB - Maloney on for Samaras

Drama in the box, Caldwell pulls down Jutkieqicz on the edge of the six yard box, Hateley then flattened by a late tackle from Robson. Midfielder takes it and lifts it in, Celtic only partially clear and Forbes hits his shot over the bar.

McDonald does well to keep his feet in the box and stabs a shot inches wide of the post.

MOTHERWELL SUB - Halsman on for Humphrey

Nice lay off from ZZ for Brown sparks a Celtic attack. But they run out of ideas.

ZZ plays in Maloney, who takes his time and clips in a shot that is hooked away.

Moutaouakil and Naylor injured in a collision, receiving treatment.

McGeady tees up McDonald, he takes a touch and liffts his shot over the bar.

Coke booked for a late tackle on McGeady.
